About Oceanview
Oceanview Therapy was established in 2022 by Carmen Schneider, MS CCC-SLP, national and state licensed speech-language pathologist.
Carmen’s interest in both language and the arts set the foundation for her career as a speech-language pathologist. She has over 11 years of experience, providing services to infants, school-aged children, and young adults.

We will provide a free phone or virtual consultation to discuss strengths, concerns, and speech-language history.
Schedule an Evaluation
After completing your consultation, we will contact you to schedule an evaluation. If services are recommended, we will recommend goals and either develop a services schedule or provide a referral to a therapist who can meet your child’s needs.
Evaluations and Treatment
We offer comprehensive evaluations and individualized therapy services designed to support children across a range of communication needs. Our assessments identify strengths and challenges in areas including articulation, phonology, receptive and expressive language, social communication skills, and fluency (stuttering). Based on evaluation results, we create personalized therapy plans that target each child’s unique goals, helping them build confidence and improve their ability to communicate effectively in everyday life.

Speech Therapy
Speech therapy refers to services related to speech sound disorders. This might include an articulation disorder, a phonological disorder, or childhood apraxia of speech.
